Responding to individual children's interests is a key principle of quality provision in the Early Years. In order to support advisory staff/consultants in their work with practitioners, this course will explore what this principle means in practice when working with very young children. It will address both the needs of the child and the role of the adult in ensuring an enabling environment in its fullest sense.
This seminar will:
identify the necessary conditions for learning;
explore how adults can and should follow the lead of very young children;
consider the impact of routines and organisation;
provide examples of extending children's learning through play.
To book places please ring Michelle Hill on 01422 311314 who will process your booking. Course places are confirmed verbally at time of booking and by letter.
