EYFS Progress Check

This course gives the opportunity to consider the implementation of the EYFS Progress Review in your setting and the role of all staff in making it successful. From September 2012, it will be a statutory requirement of the EYFS for practitioners to complete a "Progress Check" for children aged 24-36 months and give parents and carers a written summary. Is your setting ready?

This course is highly beneficial for anyone working in an early years setting or anyone involved in the EYFS 'Progress Check' process.

Learning outcomes

Participants will:

  • Feel confident to introduce and implement the EYFS Progress review in their setting
  • Feel confident to explain the EYFS Progress Review and Targeted Plan to staff and parents
  • Have access to a range of materials to support staff and parents
