This course will focus on:

* ways to stimulate & nurture children's natural scientific curiosity
*


* the role of the adult: shared sustained thinking and other techniques
*


* how to organise the learning environment both indoors and outdoors to maximise opportunities for scientific learning

 

The course will include presentation, group discussion and practical work with time for reflection and questioning.

Participants are asked to bring a natural object and something which changes when water is added.
