Introducing a programme of events inspired by the need to provide the early years workforce with the management and leadership skills to raise standards and improve outcomes for children. The programme has been developed in partnership with Lincolnshire's Birth to Five Service, and is designed to explore and develop the hands on skills and tools not provided by sector endorsed foundation degrees, that are vital to raising the quality of leadership and management.
Overarching aims of the programme:
• Increase confidence in managing and leading people
• Embrace change
• Raise standards and quality
• Unlock staff potential
• Improve work-life balance
• Share best practice between settings
• Enhance interpersonal skills
• Improve self-awareness of skills and behaviours
• Manage staff conflict effectively
• Value diversity
• Develop an action plan
The events are informative, challenging and fun. They creatively blend skilled facilitated workshops with interactive theatre based techniques involving professional writers and actors. Delegates work together in a mutually support way to problem solve and share best practice. Our training teams enhance the learning experience by providing an exciting, non-threatening and supportive environment for people to learn and share experiences. The programme has received tremendous feedback.
